What better complement for the $300K turntable?

Not a very long time ago I was writing some short lines on a Goldmund turntable which is definitely for quite a few of us; now it's time to add to those lines some more, on the Goldmund Epilogue, a loudspeaker system to match that awesome piece of gear - and yes, exclusive and expensive as hell, also.

The Goldmund Epilogue is a high-tech, luxury audio solution devised for the discerning and spending listener looking for the ultimate specs in terms of build quality and sonic performance: several configurations can be individually bought, starting from the basic line-ups and going all the way up to full home theater installations which are to be seen in dream residences.

[admark=1]The full array of Epilogue consists of no less than 8 speaker enclosures and in case you thought you'd get a full 7.1 surround system, you were oh so wrong, because Goldmund is a "purist" audio solution for those whose faith in high-class stereo is unbreakable.

The Epilogues are loaded with unique Velvet Kevlar-coned bass drivers, ensuring a tight and firm LF reproduction and minimal distortions even when pumped pretty hard; everything related to the driver complement is labeled proprietary technology and has been engineered by Goldmund during the last years for a superior performance. The configurable architecture will integrate perfectly in any room as it will allow you to adjust some angles for your speakers, in order to get the very best from them.

All the enclosures of the Goldmund Epilogue have been especially manufactured from brass and aluminium entirely, with internal bracing made of steel and a special design that carries the vibrations to the center Mechanical Grounding evacuation bar, a structure that dissipates resonance and thus cleans the sound right up. The all-metal construction also allows internal parts' service/maintenance/servicing without degrading any components and ensuring a longer life for your serious investment.

The Goldmund Epilogue can be multi-amped and multi-wired so that it would be relatively easy to integrate with any decors and settings; and the 120-130dB sound pressure levels will let you experience a most vivid and explosive multimedia at any time. With a 20 Hz - 28 kHz usable range, the Goldmund Epilogue is sworn to offer you a breathtaking experience even with very demanding audio formats in circulation these days or Blue-ray discs.

Again, with a price tag around $300,000, the Goldmund Epilogue speaker system looks great but, it's not a toy for everyone. Neat, though!

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
