14 DAY TRIAL // After hearing of Dong Nguyen’s success with Flappy Bird, it became obvious for some developers that they had to get in on that racket.
So they ripped off the game and started selling similar ones of their own. There’s nothing smarter than that technique, especially when Apple seemingly has no eye for blatant copies of successful apps.
Some of these ripoffs include Flappy Penguin, Flappy Plane, Fly Birdie - Flappy Bird Flyer, Smarcle Flyer, Flappy Bee, and Fluffy vs Flappy Birds, and according to those who’ve had a go at them, they’re garbage.
Frankly, I think Flappy Penguin is a lot more polished and somewhat original, but it's pretty clear that it's a ripoff. Also, it costs $0.99/€0.89, whereas Flappy Bird is free. However, they're all just as annoying as Flappy Bird. I don’t need to spell it out for you, I’m sure.
