14 DAY TRIAL // There isn't a Feedly application on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8, but there are alternatives that users can take advantage of, though many think they're not as good.
Still, there might be a very good unofficial Feedly client released on Windows Phone in the coming weeks. Developer ClevLab announced their new FeedLab application is now available for a limited number of users who want to test their features.
First of all, if you managed to get into the beta program, you should know that FeedLab is a Feedly client, so it requires a Feedly account, otherwise you won't be able to benefit from its features.
Speaking of features, FeedLab comes with quite a wide range of options that should provide a smooth user experience to Windows Phone fans.
With FeedLab, you will be able to add the RSS feeds of your favorite websites, blogs, magazines and newspapers. The application also allows users to group their feeds in categories.
The final build is expected to arrive later this month
FeedLab comes with gesture support, so users will be able to discover they favorite news with a swipe of a finger. It also comes with Cortana support, so you can launch new search directly in FeedLab.
Some customization options are available as well, such as the option to display the articles the way you want: just the title, images, with small or large images, or larger tiles.
Also, live tiles are included too, so you can pin your favorite categories on the home screen of your smartphone.
Last but not least, you will be able to listen to your articles via the speech feature, as well as find the summary of each article, with the ability to continue the reading to the desired website.
FeedLab Beta for Windows Phone is now available for free via Windows Phone Store. However, you won't be able to download it until you register for a beta account.
It's also worth mentioning that ClevLab will only allow the first 2,000 users to register in the FeedLab beta program.
