Although the North American launch of the Galaxy Nexus has been postponed for next month, it appears that the phone is already available for purchase from various retailers.

The Canadian branch of Expansys is now selling the unlocked version of Galaxy Nexus for US$800 (600 EUR), about US$50 more expensive than the US version, which is now available from the same retailer for only US$750 (565 EUR).

Canadian customers who want to purchase the smartphone should know that they are required to pay an extra US$25 (19 EUR) for the delivery. Expansys claims that the Galaxy Nexus is usually shipped in 3 days.

However, the retailer mentions that customers who order the smartphone before 3pm CST will probably receive their Galaxy Nexus units in about 5 working days.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus is expected to arrive in the United States on December 8 via Verizon Wireless. Furthermore, the Canadian version of Galaxy Nexus will go live on the same date from Bell Canada and Virgin Mobile.

In the same news, the unlocked Nokia Lumia 800 is available for purchase from Expansys as well. Customers who want to grab Nokia’s Windows Phone device must shell out US$745 (560 EUR).

An additional US$26 (20 EUR) fee is required for the delivery of the product. Expansys ships the Nokia Lumia 800 in 1-2 days, but customers who order it before 3pm CST can expect to receive the smartphone in about 3 working days.

Nokia Lumia 800 has yet to be officially introduced in North America. The Finnish company announced plans to release both the Lumia 800 and 710 in the United States in early 2012, but has yet to reveal which carriers will offer the smartphones.

Canadians will be able to purchase Nokia's Windows Phone devices in January 2012 as well, but no exact release dates have emerged yet.
