BlackBerry fans in the UK were the first to get their hands on the Canadian company’s Z10 smartphone. The device is also available in Canada and UAE, but the rest of the regions have been left out from the initial rollout.

Although UK customers have been enjoying the BlackBerry Z10 for more than two weeks now, the smartphone is only available from various carriers on select plans. All retailers currently selling the device require customers to sign up for a plan.

Still, there are some lucky customers who have managed to grab unlocked BlackBerry Z10 devices since the smartphone was launched.

Carphone Warehouse and Phones4u had the unlocked Z10 on sale for a few days, but now it looks like there are only a few locations where customers can find one.

Most of the retailers currently selling the BlackBerry Z10 put a much higher price on the smartphone or have already depleted their stocks.

Anyway, the folks over at CrackBerry think that’s about to change as BlackBerry has decided to bring more unlocked Z10 devices in the UK within the next few days.

Even though there are no details on the exact release date, word is that most leading retailers across the country will be allowed to sell the unlocked BlackBerry Z10 by the end of this week.

BlackBerry Z10 is the most powerful smartphone launched by the Canadian company. The smartphone packs a 1.5- GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

The device boasts a vibrant 4.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 768 x 1280 pixels resolution and an impressive 8-megapixel rear camera, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

There’s also a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, along with LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. More details on BlackBerry Z10’s specs sheet are available here.
