If you're an avid Angry Birds player, who isn't, you may want to start reading up on some books. No, not books on Angry Birds, though there are probably several of those already, any old books, just as long as you do it in the Google Books Chrome app.

Google is continuing its Angry Birds - Google Chrome tie-in and is enabling players to access several secret levels, as long as they discover the codes. And the codes are hidden in various Google apps, like the Google Books app for example.

"Tis the season to be... angry! We're partnering up with Angry Birds this holiday season to bring you an early gift. In the latest adventures of your favorite furious feathered friends — Angry Birds Seasons for Chrome — the birds have locked away bonus levels in the game," Google wrote.

"Being avid readers, they've hidden clues to unlock the bonus levels in the new Google Books app for Chrome," it added.

If you've mastered all of the regular levels and even the bonus ones for the Chrome version of Angry Birds, this may be your chance at something new.

Assuming you're already using Google Chrome, just go to the Web Store and grab the Google Books app. It's just a launcher for the Google Books site, but if you load the app, you'll see a notification showing you a hint of what to read and where to find the secret codes that unlock the special levels.

Of course, you could be playing Angry Birds in Firefox, thanks to your friends, the open web standards, but if you want to bonus levels, you'll have to use Google Chrome at least long enough to install the Books app and grab the codes.
