Why bother to try and sell stupid books? Games like WoW sell much better.

If anyone gets hurt, they blame it on the games. If anyone gets killed, the first thing they do is to see if it had anything with violent video games. Car accident - they blamed it on Gran Turismo because the guy responsible for injuring an old timer had played the driving simulator prior to the accident, thus Gran Turismo earning its title of "killer game." But they also claim that video games keep teenagers less focused on studying. That's true you know.

Tenser posted an article along with picture, showing just how much universities try to get hold of their students and how hard they try to keep them focused on studying. You know how it goes: "Study, study, study!" Only the picture you see says: 1 - Get your original copy of World of Warcraft game, 2 - get the expansion pack also - "The Burning Crusade," to have loads of fun online and 3 - you might need that game card to subscribe for playing a whole month of WoW.

Blizzard's MMORPG actually did do a lot of harm to many people, opposed to other more innocent games. It's no questioning whether the game was responsible for some of the happenings: It tore up families, parents forgot to feed their offspring, teens literally dropped dead on their keyboards from long hours of play and too much coffee. It's not something to joke about. These things happened.

What is it with these people? Aren't University bookstores supposed to encourage students to buy books? What, they thought they might need a brake from all their hard studying? Like anyone studies anymore... No one is saying "Read books and do nothing else but study your manuals if you want to make something of your life!" Nor should you play games all day and not bother your brain with anything that might get you a job in the future. But there's a place where you get books and there's a place where you get games. A university's bookstore shouldn't sell/promote games. That's that!
