Celebrating the Hispanic Heritage Month, Universal Music Group (UMG) and Flycell, Inc., the well-known North American mobile entertainment company, have just launched the Spanish version of the Flycell Web portal.

From now on, Spanish-speaking users will be able to access a wide range of mobile content from Universal Music, including exclusive voice tones, shout-outs or ringtones from artists like RKM and Ken Y. Also, Flycell hosts an array of audio and video goodies related to Latin music superstars, so all those who want to be entertained can surely find ways of doing so on the new portal.

Music content aside, the new Flycell offers wallpapers, games and various applications too, hence it might become a major Web destination for Spanish mobile users. To access the Spanish Flycell portal, you can visit this address.

Talking about the new portal, Lindsey Weinger, vice president of Web Experience at Flycell, stated, "As the consumption of mobile entertainment continues to grow, Flycell is meeting the demands of our Spanish speaking customers and serving an ever broader audience with popular Latin-specific content including the most current ringtones and mobile media from artists like Enrique Iglesias, Luis Fonsi, Jenni Rivera, and Grupo Montez de Durango. What better time to introduce our Spanish-language offering than during the month dedicated to celebrating Hispanic heritage and culture?"

"Latin Music remains one of the industry's fastest growing and most dynamic genres, and we are committed to expanding the marketplace for it even further," added Skander Goucha, vice president of Digital for Universal Music Latin Entertainment. "Flycell continues to provide a dynamic platform for consumers to enjoy their favorite Latin music while giving our artists another significant online presence that creates an even closer connection with music fans."

Held between September 15 and October 15, each ear, the Hispanic Heritage Month is an homage to Hispanic Americans and their contributions to the development of the United States.
