Searching for a charger when you have more mobile phones around the house can be really annoying. And many have tried to introduce a better, easier way to charge your mobile phone or even more mobile phones at the same time.

But now, according to the Ministry of Information, all mobile phone battery chargers will be manufactured in the same standard which means that you will be able to use only one mobile charger to charge any cell phone you own.

The new chargers will be featuring the same outlet as in the case of flash memory, more precisely an USB slot and can charge your phone if it's not connected to a plug, by connecting it to a PC or mobile phone that will serve as a power source.

And not only does the new charger do what it's supposed to do - charge your mobile phone - but it can also be used for data transmission between your mobile phone and a PC, so it pretty much replaces all the data cables you would need for different models of mobile phones as well.

Taking into account the fact that in China there are about 450 million mobile phone users, and around 100 million mobile phones are bought each year, both manufacturers and customers could do some serious money saving when this product would hit the market.

"Consumers do not need to switch battery chargers any more. It will save cost for both consumers and manufacturers." Ministry of Information industry He Guili said.

Researchers are working on making the new chargers car-compatible and while the official date of release of this charger has not been announced, we can only hope that this will happen soon.
