The prices are to be unveiled for the third iteration of the popular server

Univention Corporate Server 3.0, an easy-to-implement and simple-to-administrate Linux infrastructure solution for operating servers and desktops, will be unveiled at the Open-Xchange Summit.

Open-Xchange Summit, an event that will take place on November 4th, 2011, Gold Sponsor Univention will present a cloud pricing model for their Univention Corporate Server 3.0 (UCS).

UCS 3.0 is an enterprise-class operating system based on Debian GNU/Linux, but also contains directory, authentification and authorization services fully compatible with Microsoft Active Directory, which, for example, can be used to provide domain services for Microsoft Windows 7.

Among other notable features of UCS 3.0 there are  directory-integrated file and print services, a complete mail stack, network management functions as well as service monitoring facilities.

Open-Xchange Summit is expected to draw more than 300 representatives from web hosting companies, telecoms, SaaS providers and on-premises channel partners.
