A number of sources have seen video games for the PlayStation Vita from Sony already on store shelves in the United States both at Walmart and at other retailers, suggesting that gamers are able to get their games and even a console before launch date.

ModNation Racers: Road Trip is one of the titles that are available for sale and retailers have also put out demo units for the PlayStation Vita, allowing gamers to get a taste of the experience the new handheld will offer.

The earliest that players can get the Vita in the United States is on February 15, when the Sony VIP early access is launched and most players will only be able to buy one on February 22, the same day that players in Europe will also be able to pick up the device.

The Vita has disappointed on the Japanese market and Sony has claimed that the device will have more of an appeal to those in the United States and Europe.
