The official website of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations was breached and defaced by a hacker known as Dr.HaCkEr. Cyber War News provided the message left by the hackers after defacing the AboutImages section of the Regional Office for the Near East subdomain (neareast).

In their message, the Syrian hackers accuse Arab rulers of massacring children, men and women.

At the time of writing the affected site has been taken offline, probably while its administrators remove the hackers' protest page.

Similar to the ones owned by NASA, websites managed by the United Nations have become a playground for hackers who want to test their skills or simply post protest messages.

Since TeaMp0isoN breached one of their domains last year, every hacker wants to take a crack at their sites. A few days ago, the grey hat known as D35m0nd142 even gained unauthorized access to the UN’s main site.
