Sony has confirmed that it will be deploying a demo for the Unit 13 game on the PlayStation Vita this week, giving new owners of the device a chance to experience the shooter.

Unit 13 arrives on the Vita this March, thanks to Zipper Interactive, the developer behind hit franchises like SOCOM or MAG.

We’ve already seen quite a few details about the game recently, but now it seems that Sony is set to give all Vita owners a taste of the shooter by releasing a free demo.

The trial will be available later today, February 21, for North American PlayStation Store users and is expected to arrive to the European one on February 22.

The Unit 13 demo allows players to try out one of the game’s Direct Action missions, includes all of the six operatives from the full version, as well as online leaderboard support.

The progress recorded in the demo by players can be transferred into the full game once it’s out on March 6.
