Galaxy Tab, the first tablet PC South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has brought to the market with Google’s Android operating system on board, has received a special treatment recently, resulting in the creation of a unique version of the device.

Those who are fond of luxury devices would certainly love this flavor of Samsung Galaxy Tab, which was created by CrystalRoc and Micro Anvika, and which comes with a number of no less than 5700 Swarovski Crystals.

“Due to launch on the 1st November 2010, Samsung approached CrystalRoc and Micro Anvika to create a unique and eye catching finish to the new Galaxy Tab. And this is what was created,” a post on the CrystalRoc blog reads.

What makes the new flavor of the Android-based tablet PC so special is, of course, the large number of Crystals it sports, complemented by a customized logo placed on its back.

“The CrystalRoc Samsung Galaxy Tab is encrusted with 5700 Swarovski Bright Crystals, each and every one being hand-applied to create the world’s most exclusive tablet computer,” the said blog post continues.

“The Galaxy Tab logo is elegantly realised in Jet Hematite producing a unique bespoke design that can be customised to be as individual as the user.”

No info emerged on possible changes to the hardware specifications of this unique Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet PC, which means that the performance capabilities of this device are similar with those of the usual flavor.

However, one should agree that this would certainly prove to be the most expensive Galaxy Tab available on the market to date.

This Galaxy Tab is available exclusively via Micro Anivka at Harrods, London. Unfortunately, no specific details on its price tag were unveiled.

We should also mention the fact that the Galaxy Tab is not the first mobile device to receive the aforementioned treatment, and that many other mobile phones are already available for purchase as luxury goods.
