14 DAY TRIAL // Less-known graphics card manufacturer, Chinese company Unika has just presented its new AMD Radeon 7970 video card design using an impressive water cooling system. The whole setup will likely bring amazing overclocking results while keeping the noise well below that of any air cooling solution.
The new Unika product is reportedly called A797 Aeolus and uses a custom printed circuit board (PCB) design.
The I/O back shield houses one DVI port, two Mini DisplayPort connectors and a HDMI port.
The waterblock used by Unika is in fact a Koolance block and GPU comes pre-overclocked to 1100 MHz.
There is no information about the card being a classic Radeon HD 7970 overclocked or a “GHz Edition” card, as the newer version has a different BIOS and is capable of finer GPU frequency adjustments.
The product comes complete with two different radiators, a pump and a liquid tank, so the price premium is clearly understandable.
