Cameras that can be used underwater are few and far between, and they don't exactly scream high quality, but the selection of devices that can be taken for a swim needn't be restricted to them alone.

To get right to the point, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7 has just become one of the devices that can be taken to the deeps, and it isn't the company itself that deserves praise for it.

Instead, Nauticam has introduced the NA-LX7, which isn't a camera but a case that the Lumix DMC-LX7 can be placed in.

While inside it, the camera can shoot video at 60 fps and in Full HD quality (1080p). The depth rating is of 100 meters.

Nauticam actually has a very long and detailed guide to what the product is and does, so check it out here.

Availability will ramp up on October 20 (2012), and the price will be of $950 / €733-€950.
