Uncharted 4 Director Neil Druckmann confirms that more details about the new PS4 game will appear in the near future, probably at Gamescom 2014 next month.

Sony's Naughty Dog studio is set to deliver The Last of Us Remastered for the PS4 this week, and afterwards a lot of the focus will be on Uncharted 4, which is deep within development and has only just received some info at E3 2014 last month, including a trailer.

Even so, fans are hungry for more details and have swarmed Director Neil Druckmann at the San Diego Comic-Con 2014 over the weekend with questions about the new game.

Druckmann has taken the time to answer one major question during the panel for The Last of Us movie, saying that more details about the game are set to appear soon, probably at Gamescom 2014 next month.

He also explains that the title will go into a different direction but that it's going to remain a core Uncharted experience.

"It's going to be really awesome and you'll see something soon. I can't say anything else. We're trying to do something pretty different with the story but it's still going to be charming, you're still going to get set pieces, bringing them to the PS4, trying to blend those set pieces with what we're doing the characters of the story. It feels like we're have something special and that we're really evolving with Uncharted."

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set to appear exclusively for PS4, probably in 2015.
