14 DAY TRIAL // Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has just received a brand new set of leaked artwork images, showcasing some stunning environments from the new action adventure experience on the PS4.
The Uncharted games made by Naughty Dog for the PS3 have taken fans to all sorts of amazing journeys over the years, as protagonist Nathan Drake has explored many different environments in his search for treasure, fortune, and much more.
For the next installment in the series, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, developer Naughty Dog has confirmed that more big adventures are coming, all in a much better quality, thanks to the powerful PS4 console, on which the title will debut.
Some impressive images have appeared
Now, after seeing some leaked details and a sketch of protagonist Nathan Drake earlier this week, a new round of images have appeared, this time taken by a Reddit user who got his hands on the special 30th anniversary art book from Naughty Dog.
In the pics below, you can admire plenty of amazing environments that will be included in the upcoming game and the general theme of Drake exploring destroyed areas, searching through buildings, and doing all sorts of other things.
You can also see that there will be another section in which Drake uses a boat to explore a partially flooded city. A fully flooded building is also pictured in the gallery below, leading some to speculate that Uncharted 4 might finally take Drake and players to the fabled lost city of Atlantis.
A few extra details about Drake's journey have also been mentioned
A choice quote from Naughty Dog accompanies the leaked photos, promising that players will get to explore the globe and even discover secrets about the protagonist.
"While one can never predict the future, we do know what our next project is going to be: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. We haven’t revealed a great deal about the game just yet, but in the following pages we are sharing some never-before-released pieces of concept art from Drake’s upcoming adventure," the studio mentions.
"We’re not going to spoil it for you, but rest assured: he and his companions will be traveling the globe again discovering secrets lost to history—and you might even discover some secrets about Drake himself."
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set to debut probably in the fall of 2015 exclusively for the PlayStation 4 platform. You can expect both Sony and Naughty Dog to heavily promote the game as we enter into the new year.
