Old issues are no longer problems for Naughty Dog

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End developer Naughty Dog is quite grateful for the "amazing" hardware built into the PS4 by Sony, describing the creation process of the game on the console as butter smooth, as problems encountered in the past are no longer causing any issues.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is one of the big PS4 exclusives set to appear this year, as millions of new console owners are looking forward to seeing what famous developer Naughty Dog can bring into its already stellar third-person action adventure series.

The studio is really impressed by PS4's hardware

After sharing details about the ambitious title, the studio is now discussing with GameInformer, via DualShockers, the impressive nature of the PS4, which has really made it easier to create games for it.

Naughty Dog really pushed the boundaries of the old PS3 with the Uncharted games in the past, and with The Last of Us which came out back in 2013 and represented the last major game for the platform.

Now, with the PS4, Creative Director Neil Druckmann admits that things that represented issues in the past with the PS3 are no longer problems with the PS4.

Of course, it's not all perfect when making a game for the new console, as given the studio's propensity to push the limits of any hardware, it always encounters "new problems."

"It’s actually pretty amazing, tell you the truth. There are things that have been issues in the past that aren’t issues at all right now. It’s funny because of how quickly you forget that it used to be an issue. That being said, like with every piece of tech, what Naughty Dog does is that we push the limits to anything and everything that’s in our eyesight. All the problems that used to exist are pretty much gone at this point. We just come up with new problems," he says.

As of yet, however, Naughty Dog isn't ready to share that many details about Uncharted 4, although more info is expected to debut at GDC 2015 in March, E3 2015 in June, or Gamescom 2015 in August.
