Naughty Dog has confirmed that it's just posted a brand new update for The Lab mode in the Uncharted 3 multiplayer experience, complete with a new block mesh map made by one of its employees, as well as a new DLC switch priority mechanic.

While Uncharted 3 was released more than a year ago, its multiplayer mode is still quite popular as developer Naughty Dog has continuously updated the special Lab experience with all sorts of new things.

After showing off the special winter holiday-themed items last month, the studio has now posted another update that includes a new block mesh map made by its QA Specialist, Swan Henshaw.

What's more, the festive holiday items that were revealed last month are now going to be available as Tournament rewards, so players need to compete in weekly contests to unlock them.

What's more, according to the developer's blog, a new DLC switch priority mechanic is available for those who own the Drake's Deception Map pack DLC, which means that they can choose to play only on the levels included in the add-on.

The new update for Uncharted 3's multiplayer goes live later today, January 9.
