Probably sometime in August

Given the attention that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has been getting lately, receiving the Best of Show Award at E3 from the Game Critics Association and with Sony looking at it as an exclusive release that can help expand the install base of the PlayStation 3, the developers at Naughty Dog are sending word that they plan to offer even more pre-launch content to gamers via another multiplayer demo, which is set to arrive before the game is officially released in November.

After a discussion with fans on the official PlayStation Blog, Evan Wells, who is the co-president of Naughty Dog, stated that “Yes, we're going to have another multiplayer demo before the game hits shelves. The exact timing isn't finalized yet, but it should be available to an even wider group this time, so if you missed the last one I don't think you'll have any problem getting in this one.”

Taking into account the release date for Uncharted 2, it's safe to say that the new demo might arrive in August, before the big games begin to draw attention in September.

The first multiplayer beta for Uncharted 2 started back on June 3 and the lucky participants got their keys by buying inFamous, another PlayStation 3 exclusive, or through the Qore PlayStation 3 magazine.

Initial reports suggest that the multiplayer content is coming along nicely but a wider demo would serve to create even more word of mouth publicity for the title.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was a surprise hit on the PlayStation 3, selling more than Sony had projected. The sequel is set to expand on the foundation of the original game, adding more intrigue, better character development and, of course, the new multiplayer content that should be demoed not once but twice for players.
