The Asha and Lumia series feature some of the most popular Nokia handsets. The former series is aimed at emerging markets mostly, but we suspect that Nokia plans to expand availability for Asha phones globally during the next year.

The newer addition to the Asha lineup is an unannounced handset that has just been tipped by evleaks. The press render of what appears to be an Asha phone has been recently published online, though no additional details on the device came with the photo.

We suspect that the phone will be officially introduced as early as January at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014 trade fair.

We will probably know more on the mysterious Asha phone’s availability and specs sheet in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
