A new HP tablet has been made available for purchase in India. But unlike others, this model hasn't been announced and does not appear on any of the company’s listings globally.

Popular retailer Flipkart has listed the mysterious HP 10 tablet for a price of Rs 20.767 / $329 / €241 which has been already discounted to Rs 20,235 / $321 / €235.

According to the shopping website, the specifications for the HP 10 are as follows. The tablet has a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor combined with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB).

Other specifications include two average cameras (2MP on the back and 0.3MP in front), 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microHDMI, microUSB and Bluetooth HS v.30. The tablet runs Android 4.1 out of the box.

Oddly enough, the 10-inch slate bundles a single-SIM card slot (GSM) so it can be used to place phone calls. The embedded 4600 mAh battery is supposed to offer 5 hours of video playback.

HP has recently pushed out two new phablets/tablets with voice calling capabilities, the HP Slate6 VoiceTab and HP Slate7 VoiceTab, but isn't a 10-inch phone tablet a little too much?

The HP 10 tablet has also been listed on eBay India for a price of Rs 23,000 / $364 / €267.
