Back in October the ASUS VivoBook F200CA was unleashed on the European market sporting a price tag of €299 / $412.

The device came bearing an 11.6-inch screen with 1366 x 768 pixels and was powered by an Intel Celeron 1007U processor from the Ivy Bridge family coupled with 2GB of RAM.

And now, a seemingly updated version of the model described above, has showed up on the German site Cyberport.

Actually, ASUS VivoBook F200MA / X200MA (depending on the market destination) is a new model sporting an Intel Celeron dual-core N2815 processor from the Bay Trail-M family. ASUS has also added 4GB of RAM and offers a 500GB hard drive. Windows 8.1 is the default operating system onboard.

The new model has yet to be announced by the Taiwanese company and it will probably show its face at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas.

The rest of specifications cover the base functions, as we have a USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, a VGA, HDMI out, Ethernet port, 802.11n Wi-Fi and a 1.3MP front camera. Sadly the battery is said to provide only 5 hours of life juice. The new model will set you back with €369 / $508 a pop, if want to grab one.
