Uma Thurman says Tarantino’s ideas for “Kill Bill III” are “awesome”

Fans know that director Quentin Tarantino never wanted “Kill Bill” to be made as a two-part movie but rather as one epic bloody adventure. The film was, however, cut in two and run in theaters as two distinct productions which, on the bright side, allows for a third film as well. Tarantino is now working on it, star Uma Thurman says as quoted by Digital Spy.

Tarantino often hinted in past interviews of the possibility of doing a third “Kill Bill” but, until now, nothing came of it. Now, Thurman is confirming officially that the film will be made, although when is not yet determined. The good news is though that the actress can vouch that it will be something else, like all Tarantino productions, fans may argue, and that the ideas he’s come up with so far are nothing short of “awesome.”

“We did chat, we did chat.” Uma says in a recent interview, when asked whether she’s been approached by Tarantino for a third “Kill Bill.” “He has not yet finished the script. I don’t even really know if he’s really started it, although I got a taste of some of his ideas and they are really good. He has started to share with me what he was thinking, and it’s awesome.” the star further explains.

Still, fans are quick to point out on dedicated forums that, in the eventuality that Tarantino is seriously considering making another “Kill Bill” film, the obstacles he’ll have to overcome are huge. For starters, Bill has already been killed, which would render the very name of the flick pointless. Secondly, the star playing Bill, David Carradine died this summer in what has been labeled a “freak accident” in a hotel room in Bangkok, and the mere thought of having another actor play him means moving away from the original two films.

Assuming a third film never happens, fans will still have the DVD uncut edition of “Kill Bill” of which Tarantino was saying back in January this year it would put the two films together, adding an extra “episode,” as we also reported at the time.
