Ultrasone is certain that there are at least a few people in the world who want German, handcrafted headphones, so it made the Signature Pro set.

The Signature Pro headpones that Ultrasone has just introduced are described in precisely the sort of way one would expect from a high-end product.

High sound quality, comfort and special technologies that only Ultrasone has access to are all part of the list of assets.

Nevertheless, this doesn't exactly qualify as a high-end product, more like a collector's item or something that only a chosen few will actually buy.

After all, there aren't many people willing, let alone eager, to spend a full $1,299 on this sort of audio solution.

The hancrafted, “Made in Germany” Signature Pro have the S-Logic Plus technology (offers “an impressively detailed sound experience”).

They also boast a frequency range of 8 to 42,000 Hz, an impedance of 32 Ohm, a sound pressure of 98 dB and 40 mm titanium-plated drivers, plus gold-plated connectors and the ULE technology (minimizes field emission)..

“With the new Signature range, we are closing the gap between our high-quality PRO headphones and the exclusive models in the Edition range,” explains Michael Zirkel, COO of Ultrasone AG.

“The Signature range is aimed at a quality-conscious consumer group comprising of both professional users and music lovers. As with our Edition models, it is extremely important to us that Signature is 'made in Germany' and the headphones are manufactured here in Tutzing.”

Ultrasone's Signature Pro headphones use NdFeB magnets and have two detachable cords with B-lock connection.

One cord is a 3.0 m straight cable with gold-plated 6.3 mm Neutrik plug, while the other is a 1.5 m straight cable with gold-plated 3.5 mm Neutrik plug/angled.

Finally, the headset sells in a bundle with a transportation case specifically designed for them.
