As Christmas is drawing near, it seems like more and greater gift ideas are available. And if you're the kind of guy who likes to make neat and useful presents and are looking for one of the best deals around, it might prove that the HFI-15G headphones from top-drawer manufacturer Ultrasone are more than desirable. These new headphones build on the acclaimed Ultrasone exigent craftsmanship and technology but this special model comes with a major update on the price side: wider affordability.

Ultrasone products have never been cheap and it's very likely that they never will. Yet there is a major difference between paying around $1,000 or more on a pair of high-class headphones and getting a glimpse on the audiophile side at a cost ten times lower.

Lightweight construction

The Ultrasone HFI-15G are lightweight headphones which can assist you in pretty much any application, whether you're thinking about watching TV, listening to music or even taking a walk. Their open-back construction combined with Ultrasone's patented S-Logic natural Surround Sound technology make for safer listening: the S-Logic driver alignment directs the sound around your head creating the spaciousness of a live concert situation, with an enhanced representation of distance and direction.

At the same time, you'll be able to listen to your fav music with the same crispness and fine detail despite the 3-4 dB of sound pressure level reduction, thus taking better care of your hearing sense. The Ultrasone HFI-15G boast 40mm Mylar drivers capable of delivering up to 96 dB SPL and running in a full frequency range (20 Hz – 20 kHz), while the 32 Ohms impedance makes them great all-round headphones.

Ultrasone HFI-15G come with a supra-auricular design and in the box you also get the 3.5mm-6.5mm adaptor and a 4 m (cca. 12 feet) extension cord for large rooms. Now, the price far all this nifty package is more than a great deal as you'll pay $100 or a bit less and that is absolutely cool.
