Ultrasn0w 1.2.5 Released - iOS 5.0 Unlock

Everyone’s favorite iOS unlock tool, Ultrasn0w has been promoted to version 1.2.5 on Cydia. Jailbroken users can employ the tool to remove their carrier restrictions.

Supporting iPhone 4 at baseband 01.59.00 and iPhone 3G/3GS at basebands 04.26.08 – 05.11.07 – 05.12.01 – 05.13.04 – 06.15.00, Ultrasn0w 1.2.5 is now available thanks to the hard work the iPhone Dev Team, as well as @sherif_hashim and @Oranav, who contributed with baseband crashes.

Currently Ultrasn0w doesn’t support devices based on the A5 processor, meaning you won’t be able to employ this new version for your iPhone 4S.

In fact, both the iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev have been burning the midnight oil hack the latest iPhone and the iPad 2 for quite some time now. Keep your fingers crossed. I hear an untethered jailbreak is not too far off.
