If anything can be said about ultrabooks, it is that they caused, and continue to produce, conflicting feelings in everyone, from buyers to analysts. Right now, those who believe in ultrabooks are taking their turn to say some things.

MarketResearch.com is turning out to be somewhat more optimistic about the odds of the ultrabooks segment.

True, many analysts think that, even with very disappointing sales, it is inevitable that such ultra-thin laptops will become a solid part of the mobile PC market eventually.

Still, MarketResearch is particularly eager to believe that sales will skyrocket, or at least rise at a very rapid pace over the next four years.

Long story short, whereas the ultrabooks market is currently valued at $1.3 billion / €999 million, MarketResearch believes the sum will rise to $75.8 billion revenue in 2016 (€58.2 billion, 58.3 times higher).
