14 DAY TRIAL // Ultra Street Fighter IV has just received an official release date for the PS4 platform, with Capcom gearing up to debut the title on May 26 for Sony's home console, after already having brought it to PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 last year.
The Street Fighter series has been around for many years, and the Street Fighter 4 installment has extended to include a variety of re-releases, expansions, and add-ons. Through the last few years, Capcom has rolled out Super Street Fighter 4, the Arcade Edition, as well as the more recent Ultra Street Fighter 4 that launched on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 platforms back in 2014.
However, after having confirmed that Street Fighter V was going to launch on PC and PS4, the Japanese company also mentioned that it was porting it with the help of Other Ocean Interactive Ultra Street Fighter IV for the PS4.
PS4 users get Ultra Street Fighter IV on May 26
Now, after a period of radio silence, the company confirms on the PS blog that Ultra Street Fighter IV is going to launch for the PS4 on May 26 worldwide.
The special release brings all the characters, all the levels, and all of the downloadable content, from new skins to stages and more, to the PS4. What's more, Capcom also mentions that it's taken into consideration feedback from PS3 users who played Ultra Street Fighter IV when it launched on the old console. As such, complaints about minor input lag have been addressed, so PS4 owners should expect highly responsive controls.
Capcom hasn't gone into detail about any of the visual improvements made to Ultra Street Fighter IV on the PS4, but fans should expect a 1080p full HD native resolution, not to mention a highly responsive 60fps framerate.

Ultra Street Fighter IV is coming to PS4 on May 26 worldwide and costs 25 USD/EUR.
