Ultra Street Fighter 4 on the PC will dump the infamous Games for Windows Live system and transition to the much more popular Steam service, according to a Capcom employee.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 was revealed to the world last month and promises to deliver a new and improved version of the old Street Fighter 4 experience on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Many PC fans wanted to know if Capcom will finally drop the restrictive and trouble-prone Games for Windows Live service and go with the simpler Steam solution, and now an employee of the company confirms this on Twitter.

What's more, he also reveals that the goal is to have Ultra Street Fighter IV appear at the same time on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, instead of delaying the computer version of the fighting game.

More details about the new experience should appear soon enough.
