Capcom's Ultra Street Fighter 4 has just been released as a digital download for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms, bringing many new things (and a couple of old ones) to one of the best fighting games ever made.

In order to further persuade brawling enthusiasts to get the upgrade from Super Street Fighter 4 or Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition, Capcom has made official a launch trailer for the newly released digital update, touching on some of the many additions contained within.

The launch trailer shows some mad combos from characters both old and new, offering a glimpse of the rebalanced gameplay, as well as the new additions to the cast of warriors, in the form of Hugo, Poison, Rolento, Elena and the all-new Decapre.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 will land on Steam for PC on August 8, along with the retail editions of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 standalone versions of the hit fighting game.

It seems a tad weird to release a bunch of patches bundled together as a new release, but hey, five new fighters is nothing to scoff at. In addition to this, in view of the closing of Games For Windows Live, Capcom has also shifted all multiplayer interactions of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition to Steam, but all the DLC got lost along the way.
