Capcom is getting ready for the release of the PlayStation Vita and has just presented the features of its Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 fighting game that will appear for the handheld platform early next year.

The PS Vita is set to see the release of a huge amount of games in the near future, just as it’s going to be released in Japan, later this month, and in Europe or North America, in February, 2012.

Among them will be Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, which has just seen its features detailed by the Japanese company. Besides playing the game like a regular fighting title, through the buttons and the thumbsticks, you can even use the touchscreen of the device, to move, by dragging a finger on the screen, jump, by flicking, or attack, by tapping your finger.

The near field communication feature of the Vita can be used by players to exchange ‘gold’ versions of their characters, while the Wi-Fi is used to watch and play online matches against other Vita owners.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a launch day title for the Vita in Japan, appearing on December 17, but a North American or European release date has yet to be confirmed.
