Video game publisher Capcom has announced that its fighting game Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has received a new patch, which fixes a number of problems with the game and makes some balance changes.

The publisher says that the patch is also DLC in a way, because it allows gamers to play the new Heroes and Heralds game mode, which allows players to get and use special Ability cards that enhance character powers and can then be used in the online game modes.

Capcom has also announced that the next piece of actual paid for downloadable content has been delayed, with the Ancient Warrior costume pack now set to arrive on March 6, with the Magneto alternate costume, which resembled the uniform of the Spanish Royal House, now removed from the offerings.

The publisher has also launched the trailer for the PlayStation Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, which will arrive on February 22.
