14 DAY TRIAL // Two new Bing sweepstakes have been announced, along with the winners for the latest such challenge, which debuted last month.
The new contest is called the Ultimate Bing Experience Sweepstakes and will provide two winners with the possibility to participate in a Bing editorial team meeting in which the future homepage photos for Bing are selected.
“That’s right—you could have a say in which photos appear on the Bing homepage,” the Bing Team explains in a recent site entry.
“If that’s not something to brag about, maybe this is: How about airfare for two to Seattle, three nights’ accommodations, and a tour of the Microsoft campus, which includes a visit to the Xbox studios and Microsoft Visitor Center? Who gets all of this special treatment? Only the winners of this sweepstakes.”
The competition will end on September 3, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Microsoft will notify the winner directly, and will also make an official announcement on the matter on or around Sept 10 on the Bing blog. The campus visit and meeting will take place on October 22 this year.
But this is not all, as the Bing Team also has in store another sweepstakes for Bing fans, one that would provide them with more “solid” prizes.
Alex Danskin, marketing communication manager, Bing, explains in a blog post that the new contest will offer a user the possibility to get an Xbox 360 with Kinect, a 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold membership, and “Madden NFL 13."
Additionally, Microsoft announced the winners of its latest sweepstakes, which included an Xbox 360 Prize Pack with The Amazing Spider-Man, along with 25 winners of the Hulu Plus 12 Month Subscription. Users can learn more on the matter via the aforementioned blog post.
