Canonical was thrilled to announce earlier today, January 28, that its Juju service orchestration tool had been awarded at the 2013-2014 Cloud Awards contest as the Best Cloud Automation Solution.

There were 200 total entries in the Cloud Awards contest, but only three in the “Best Cloud Automation Solution” category: QualiSystems, Ensim Corporation, and Juju – Canonical / Ubuntu, which won.

“We are extremely pleased to endorse Ubuntu’s Juju as a cloud services provider, disrupting business models and leveraging cloud technologies to be the best of the best,” Larry Johnson, Cloud Awards organizer, said.

Juju is a very powerful software developed by Canonical for the Ubuntu operating system and designed to help developers easily and quickly configure, define, and deploy services to the cloud. More details can be found on its official website.
