Great, no... wonderful news this week, as CNR (Click 'N Run) was released for Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10 distributions. The One-Click Linux Software Installation service (CNR), provided by Linspire, is a FREE and easy way to access over 37,000 desktop Linux products, packages and libraries, all with a single mouse click. Finding, installing and managing software on your desktop Linux computer has never been that easy. For detailed installation instructions see this article.

From this article you will learn how to install Ubuntu 7.10 on PS3. You will see that Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon has greatly been improved for the PS3 hardware. It can now recognize all the components of your PS3 console, like the Blu-ray unit, the Gelic network card, USB and Bluetooth ports, and the sound system!

Some Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon based distributions were released last week:

Minibuntu 7.10 - the tiny Ubuntu remix you can build on! Minibuntu is a fully working Ubuntu Live CD containing only the minimal set of software to make the system work. Minibuntu ISO image is only 138MB. Download here! ■ Geubuntu 7.10 - when a GNOME reaches Enlightenment! Geubuntu is a complete and fully functional operative system based on the popular Linux Distribution Ubuntu. Geubuntu, a project started and designed by the Italian artist Luca D.M. (aka TheDarkMaster) is perfect for any Desktop, Laptop PC or even for a Virtual Machine. Geubuntu mixes the power and simplicity of Ubuntu and parts of the Gnome Desktop with the wonder and astonishing eye-candy of Enlightenment DR17. Download here!
