Ubuntu Touch will arrive on phones this December

The Ubuntu Touch operating system has just received a new RTM branch and the developers are working hard to provide a stable and good operating system. We've put together a video tour of Ubuntu Touch.

We made a big review of Ubuntu Touch just a few weeks ago and it's full of screenshots, but some of the features and the overall feeling of the OS can't be demonstrated in images, so we thought that we should make a small video presentation. It doesn't cover everything, just the main features, but users should get a better idea of what the system looks like.

Before you get to watch the video, there are a few caveats. Users will notice that the apps have a small delay before they open. That issue will be fixed soon, as the developers still have to make some adjustments. This video was made with a Nexus 4, but a better phone will handle it much better.

In the video, we are running the latest version of Ubuntu Touch RTM, the third release made so far. You can clearly notice that the experience improves from one version to the other, and this is very good news. If you have any questions about the OS, we'll be more than happy to answer them in the comments.

Enjoy!
