The only solution is to remove the battery, which is rather hard on Nexus devices

Ubuntu Touch is not yet ready for mass consumption and it's pretty unstable, not to mention that it's able to somehow temporarily brick Nexus devices.

Canonical developers are making their Ubuntu Touch operating systems compatible with Nexus 4 and 7, but that doesn't mean that it works without any hitch on the devices made by LG.

This being said, unlucky users might find themselves in a difficult situation, not being able to boot the device. The most important thing is to prevent the phone or tablet from shutting down due to low battery.

Users have reported that once closed, some Nexus devices would not boot anymore, even after being charged. The only solution for this problem is to remove the battery, which is rather difficult because the battery compartment is very hard to access.

We can only hope that Canonical will fix this problem by the time of the 1.0 target, on October 17.
