14 DAY TRIAL // A stable version of Ubuntu Touch is expected to arrive in a couple of days, alongside Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) and the development team is making the final preparations, including a new touch sound theme.
The developers are putting the finishing touches on Ubuntu Touch and they even included a new sound theme for the operating system.
“Short one this time. We worked on the quality and ask all upstreams (they should have been contacted) for crashers and AP tests failing. Most of them are due to one big crash which is under tracking," stated Didier Roche in short message on the mailing list.
He also explained that a URL dispatcher fix for click packages has been implemented, a new touch sound theme has been added, and the screen no longer turns off, on idling, when playing a video.
