As we've announced earlier today, Canonical will showcase these days at CES 2012 an Ubuntu TV device featuring the Unity interface.

A few minutes ago, Canonical unleashed the Ubuntu TV website, presenting its features and detailed specifications.

Ubuntu TV offers easy integration of online and broadcast services, and applications, offering a modern broadcast TV experience, allowing users to search, record, buy, rent and playback.

Users will be able to integrate satellite and cable services into Ubuntu TV, providing support for EU and US standard formats, for both high definition and standard contents.

Ubuntu One integration will be provided, and users can install various TV optimized apps from the Ubuntu Software Center.

Ubuntu TV also has the ability to stream media across other compatible devices, supporting iOS and Android. Intelligent search and enhanced viewing is also available.

For more information about the Ubuntu TV, watch the video above and visit its official website.
