Now that Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) has been released, Canonical proudly announced a few minutes ago the official place and date for the upcoming Ubuntu Hardware Summit 2011 event which takes place once a year.

This year's Ubuntu Hardware Summit event will take place on December 8th, starting at 9 AM local time, at Grand Victoria Hotel No. 168, Jingye 4th Rd., Taipei, 10466 Taiwan.

"Building on the success of 2010 (over 200 attendees), the 2011 Ubuntu Hardware Summit promises to deliver more. With keynote speeches from various members of the Canonical team, and a more focused technical delivery, register below to avoid disappointment." - was stated in the official announcement.

The Ubuntu Hardware Summit 2011 event is created especially for product managers and engineers at ODMs and OEMs, with interest or responsibility in deploying the popular Ubuntu operating system on new computers and devices.
