Ever since Ubuntu GNOME was announced as an official Ubuntu flavor, a lot of people have shown that they're interested in the distribution.

There aren't many details shared about the development of the Ubuntu GNOME, but we can say for certain a few things. First of all, the daily build that's now available is based on Linux kernel 3.8.0, but this is likely to change in the near future.

Ubuntu GNOME 13.04 also comes loaded with open-source drives for the graphic cards, Evolution, Empathy, Shotwell, and LibreOffice 4.0.1.

The distribution also features GRUB 2.0 and supports UEFI boot. Unfortunately, the next release milestone for this distro is Ubuntu 13.04 Final Beta, on March 28. This means that until then, we will have to contend with the unstable daily builds.

You can download Ubuntu GNOME 13.04 daily build from the official Ubuntu server.
