14 DAY TRIAL // The Ubuntu Edge IndieGoGo campaign has just become a lot more competitive with the release of a comparative specification sheet between Canonical's phone, the iPhone 5, and Samsung's Galaxy S4.
Comparisons between these phones have been made straight from the get-go, but not on official channels. If you thought that Ubuntu Edge sounded good on paper, then you're are not the only one.
Canonical has decided to update its IndiGoGo page with a simple table that enumerates the features of each phone – Ubuntu Edge, iPhone 5, and Samsung Galaxy 4.
This comparison doesn't take into account the processors used by the devices. Users must also know that the iPhone 5S, the next in line to the one shown in the Ubuntu Edge comparison, is scheduled to be released this autumn, and Samsung Galaxy S5 has almost the same estimated launch date, the spring of 2014.
Ubuntu Edge is a phone developed by Canonical and it's scheduled for launch in May 2014. More details about the price and the specifications can be found in our initial report.
