Hello all.

I tried Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) for about two days. And I am very sorry to say, please do not install Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) on your work PC. You could give it a try on some old PC that you have, but you sure would not want to install it on your work PC or in your company's PCs.

Reasons:

1. If you want to print something, and your printer is not already in the Ubuntu version, you will spend days to figure out what to do, if ever. I never figured it out.

2. There are even problems using a normal PS/2 mouse. I mean, how could one work without a mouse and a printer?! I realize that it is a free OS and that lots of people put a lot of their effort into it. But hey, this OS is just for geeks, not for REAL END USERS!!!

Over all, after two days of working with Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty), I do not recommend the Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) OS to any person wanting to use it on a work PC or laptop. Perhaps if this OS gets improved over the next few years, it might have a chance.

I don't understand how did you got these issues... I've installed kubuntu 7.04 and every hardware that i have on my computer, worked out of the box!

About your issues:
You have to understand something, if a hardware fails to work on linux, it's NOT linux fault, but hardware's manufacturer fault, because they don't make linux drivers for their hardware.

Have you ever reported these issues at the ubuntu community?

can you install ubuntu 7.04 onto the ps3?
If so, can you install wine onto it?
If that works can you play pc games on your ps3?
