Canonical has already announced that it will ship Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) with GNOME 3.10 packages, and now the new apps have started to show up.

If you are using Ubuntu 14.04, you might have noticed that the most recent update came with the latest Nautilus 3.10.1-0ubuntu2. You might have also noticed the Ubuntu name in the version.

Canonical doesn't ship the default GNOME version of Nautilus (Files), but a slightly modified build. It's not structurally different from it, but it is customized for the Ubuntu system.

The new Nautilus version also features the recursive search, instead of the default one used in the original GNOME release. This means that, if you start typing something in a folder, you will no longer start to search in that folder and in all subfolders (you need to hit Ctrl + f for that).

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) is scheduled to arrive on April 17.
