Ubuntu 13.04 Will Include an Improved Unity Interface

As you all know, Canonical is hard at work this week, preparing the final release of the highly-anticipated Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) Linux operating system.

Unity is a major component of the Ubuntu operating system; therefore, it received a lot of interesting optimizations, features and changes, all included in version 7.0, which is part of Ubuntu 13.04.

Unity 7.0 incorporates refined Unity Previews, new Lens icons, Ayatana Overlay Scrollbars support, redesigned Unity button, illuminated states for storage devices and Trash, the ability to scroll through applications with the mouse wheel, as well as a faster Dash.

Moreover, the seventh version of the Unity user interface for Ubuntu-based operating systems will bring revamped attention glow for the application icons from the Unity Launcher, as well as various improvements and fixes.
