Users want Chameleonic login screen for Precise Pangolin

Ubuntu Developer Summit for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) is taking place these days (October 31st - November 4th) in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Even if the new login screen (LightDM) featured in Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) is one of the most beautiful login screens ever created for a Linux distributions, users want more.

Therefore, the Ubuntu developers discussed at UDS-P that the login screen should have semi-transparent menus, better Shutdown dialog, and Chameleonic theming.

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, dubbed Precise Pangolin is scheduled for release on April 26th, 2012. It will be the 16th release of the Ubuntu operating system and the first LTS release to be supported for 5 (five) years on both the Desktop and the Server editions.
