Japanese cloud gaming company Ubitus is entering a partnership with Google designed to bring a number of modern video games to the television service the search giant is operating.

The video games can be played on any device that currently supports Google TV and include titles like Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV and Lost Planet 2, all of them published by Capcom.

The titles will be offered on Smart TVs and on set-top boxes that are powered by Google, according to Engadget.

It’s unclear whether the partnership is only available in Japan or whether Western gamers can also take advantage of it.

The profile of cloud gaming is currently growing and some suspect that a streaming service based on Gaikai will be integrated by console maker Sony in the soon-to-be-announced PlayStation 4 home console.
