Since the launch of Ubisoft's Assassin’s Creed IV companion application for Android devices, many users have complained of compatibility problems.

Lots negative reviews posted on Google Play Store highlight various performance issues on select Android smartphones and tablets, which is the main reason the companion app is rated so low at the moment (3.2 out of 5.0).

However, soon after the application had made its way onto Google Play, Ubisoft promised to work permanently to improve users’ experience.

Today, a new Assassin’s Creed IV companion app has been released for Android devices, though no changelog has been provided. Still, we suspect that Ubisoft included lots of bug fixes and performance improvements, so Android users should expect a smoother experience after the update.

You can now download Assassin’s Creed IV companion app for Android for free via Google Play store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3 and up.
